The Cloud, Dubai

Speaking of Dubai on the clouds, there really is an existing idea about building a city on the clouds. Or rather, building a resort city 300 m above the ground, hold up by legs resembling rain.

It really looks amazing, doesn't it?

City on the clouds

It looks like a city on the clouds. A sci-fi version of jack and the beanstalk.

The Ren Building

This magnificent building is a proposal for a hotel, leisure and conference centre for the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

It is designed to look like the Chinese character REN, meaning person, or human.

Gorgeous isn't it?

Brief update

I am sooo busy at the moment. I'll tell you why later.

It's been such a long time since I wrote anything. It's been Christmas, and New Year. I went back to Sweden during the holidays, spent lots of time with family and friends, didn't study at all, but did make some very big and important decisions that needed to be made.

And now I'm back in Colchester, for my last term before I graduate this summer. And it will be an extremely busy term, not just because of my studies.

But I'm hoping it will be a good term.

A happy year to you all!
