Asakusa

The first thing we did when I went to Japan (after sleeping the first day away) was to go to Asakusa. It is the more "traditional" part of Tokyo, with many temples, lovely Japanese gardens and lots of cute, small souvenir shops.

It was extremely hot that day, about 35 degrees. Coming from a very cool Sweden, it was like running into a wall. Also, Japan is very humid during the summer, but very beautiful.
