Yesterday we just did some general browsing in and around Connaught Place in Delhi. This morning we woke up early to catch the train to Amritsar, which took 6-7 hours. So we are now in Amritsar. Land of the turbans..ehm I mean the Sikhs.
By the way, I've looked up how to wear a sari, so I'm gonna try that, as I have had the blouse made and all (I had it done in Varanasi). So hopefully I'll be able to wear the sari tomorrow. Haha.
Here in Amritsar, we stay at Grand Hotel. It's located very near the train station. Tomorrow we plan on going to the Golden Temple.
Not to get jinxed or anything, but I'm proud to tell you all that none of us have gotten food poisoned (yet), and except for my cold, we're healthy and fine.
